Queen’s passion for racing took root at just six years old in Virginia, where he got his start at Langley Speedway. Under the guidance of local legend Phil Warren, he learned the basics of Go-Karts and began shaping the smooth, aggressive style that would become his trademark.

After making a name for himself in the Kid Kart ranks at Langley, Queen moved up to Late Model Stock Cars. He quickly established himself as a contender, capturing three straight track championships from 2020 through 2022.

Looking to challenge himself further, Queen set his sights on the CARS Tour, a series known for its tough competition and short-track intensity. The move allowed him to sharpen his skills against some of the best in the region.

Queen’s steady climb continued with a move to ARCA, where he picked up several poles and victories, including wins in the Tide 150, Atlas 150, and Southern Illinois 100. He also made his mark in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, finishing fourth at North Wilkesboro and proving he could adapt to new challenges.

Now, Queen is preparing for his Xfinity Series debut with Kaulig Racing, eager to take on the next level of NASCAR competition.

Brenden “Butterbean” Queen Family

Butterbean’s racing talent does not come from a raw background; it’s the talent that came from his father, Mike Queen, a former racing driver. His mother, Robyn Foster Queen, has been one of the biggest supporters. His girlfriend Nicole Natchus is another important person in his life.

Brenden’s nickname “Butterbean” is given by his fans because he resembles Eric Esch, also known as Butterbean, a former Mixed martial arts and Kickboxing player in the heavyweight and super heavyweight divisions.
